Dr. Salem's staff has over 50 years of combined experience and participates in continuing education to stay on the cutting-edge of clinical techniques and procedures to assure you that you will receive the finest quality care available anywhere. With the help of our staff we make every effort to always be on time for appointments. Our goal is to create the ultimate patient experience.

Dr. Salem was born and raised in Bennington, Vermont. He attended the public schools and graduated from Mt. Anthony Union High School in 1986. From there he attended The University of Notre Dame where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Studies in 1990. Dr. Salem then entered dental school at The University of Illinois in Chicago and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dentistry and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1994. Following graduation, he completed a 12 month hospital residency program at the West Side VA Medical Center in Chicago.

Dr. Salem has practiced in Bennington since 1995. While a member of the medical staff at Southwest Vermont Medical Center, he co-founded Bright Smiles. This hospital-based program offers a safe setting in which to provide dental care to children with extensive needs, utilizing general anesthesia. Dr. Salem is a participating dentist for Project 31 which offers free dental care to the community.

Dr. Salem remains current in the field of dentistry and brings the most advanced dental techniques and materials to his practice by attending many continuing education classes and seminars. He is especially fond of Dr. Frank Spear, one of the world's finest restorative dentists, and has attended many of his courses over the years.

Dr. Salem is a member of several professional organizations including the American Dental Association, Vermont Dental Association, Bennington County Dental Association, and the International Team of Implantology. He also serves on the Board of Directors for The Bank of Bennington.

Dr. Salem and his wife have three children and reside in Bennington.
